What's This 1, 2, 3.
WB steps back, waits for 1 count and goes in motion across the formation and sets up behind far side linemen for pass from QB. Right End moves up to line of scrimmage when WB moves back making 7 men on the line of scrimmage and sets for blocking with other linemen. After motion has been completed QB reads which play is best. Play call goes from left to right, 1 left side, 2 middle, 3 right side. QB reads: 1. 2 on 1, or 2 on 2 with 2nd defender set deep. Good quick screen. 2. T E has no one covering him as he appears to be a guard, seek open area for quick pass. 3. Less than 5 on 4 after motion has been completed from the far side, good for screen play. |
